CCCEF Celebrates Earth Day With 3rd Annual Community Garden Event

On April 22nd the Cumberland County Campus Educational Foundation held its 3rd Community Garden event in celebration of Earth Day on the RCSJ Cumberland campus. Each year the foundation plants herbs and flowers in the named educational garden spaces on campus to welcome springtime and the beauty of renewal. The named garden space serves as educational gardens for students, community, and staff. During the event attendees participated in planting in the gardens and a tour of the greenhouse to showcase plants from the Philadelphia flower show and students’ plants from various courses.

CCCEF Executive Director Dr. Maria LeBlanc and Foundation Board Member Ms. Ginger Chase plant the first flowers.
