School Counts! Scholarship Program Recognition Night for High School Seniors on Track for the Scholarship
On April 15, the Cumberland County Campus Educational Foundation held its School Counts! Recognition Night to recognize over 100 high school seniors on track for their 4th certificate to receive the School Counts! Scholarship.
Our School Counts! Legacy
School Counts! stands for everything right in the community—being positive, believing in each other, and making a difference. The Foundation views the School Counts! Program as a vital, countywide program that will enrich the quality of life in our region. With your help, we can continue to provide School Counts! Scholarships for our students, and we need your support.
The School Counts! program provides scholarships for Cumberland County residents who earn four consecutive School Counts! certificates from participating high schools. To earn a School Counts! certificate, students must:
- have a 95% or better attendance record;
- have a grade of C, or school-grade equivalent, or higher in every course;
- have completed Algebra I; and
- be scheduled to graduate from high school on time.
The county-wide initiative is supported by over 400 businesses each year.
